Student Incentives:
One way to motivate at-risk students is by providing incentives for improved attendance, good grades and improved behavior. The incentives do not have to be expensive and might include small denomination ($5 - $10) gift cards from stores and fast food restaurants, nail polish and clear or pink lip gloss. Gift Cards kids enjoy can come from Wal-Mart, Target, Sonic, Whataburger, Academy, Barnes & Noble, and for going to the movies.

Sweatshirt and Uniform Drives:
Throughout the year Communities In Schools - Bay Area provides clothing to students who can’t afford the necessary school attire. Items of clothing can be collected throughout the year.

Canned Food Drive:
All homeroom classes collect canned goods for a two week period. The class with the most canned goods wins a pizza party.
